Job description
Are you a Qualified Creative Arts Teacher looking to inspire young minds through the art of drama?We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join a Leicestershire secondary school starting ASAP until the end of the academic year, with the potential of being extended for September.
About the Role: As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. The role involves teaching mixed-ability groups, providing a stimulating learning environment, and fostering a love for drama among our students. This is a temporary position, offering the chance to make a significant impact in a vibrant and supportive school community.
Position Details:
* Start Date: ASAP and/or September
* Contract Duration: Full-time temp-Perm possible
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver captivating drama lessons for KS3 and KS4.
* Engage with mixed-ability student groups
* Plan and prepare resources for effective teaching and learning.
* Provide constructive feedback and marking to support student progress.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4.
* Strong planning and organisational skills.
* Passion for inspiring students through the arts.
