Qualified SEND English Teacher - Behaviour - SEMH – West Bromwich – ASAP – Temporary to Permanent role
Are you a qualified English Teacher with SEND experience, comfortable to work in a behaviour school?
As this school caters for students that are ESOL, you will be expected to teach Functional Skills English as well as English GCSE.
I am currently recruiting for a primary and secondary behaviour school based in West Bromwich, that are seeking to appoint an experienced qualified English Teacher for their school. The post is initially a temporary position with a view to going permanent for the right person.
As a specialist Behaviour SEND Teacher you will be involved in the marking and planning of lessons. Class sizes may vary from day to day but are typically small groups so marking is significantly lower than in a mainstream schools. All classes have 2 or 3 Teaching Assistants also so there is plenty of support available to you.2017.
The behaviour school caters for students aged between 11-18 with challenging behaviour, ESOL and social, emotional mental health.
I am happy to be working with this school as they really care about their students and staff. It is a very large school, holding up to 175 students and they have so many facilities for their pupils. There are many TAs and support staff employed in the school and everyone has a really good work ethic and are all keen to help you.
