GBP50-60 per day- depending on experience
A professional and motivated teaching assistant is required for a lovely SEN school based in the Moseley area.

This specialist SEN school in Moseley caters for pupils with autistic spectrum disorders and Autism and complex needs. Classes are small with 6-10 students per class and the position will require the teaching assistant to assist the class teacher, provide one to one support for the SEN students, and do group work with the students to enhance learning and social skills.

The SEN school is in a central location, with good transportation links to the Moseley area. This Teaching Assistant role is initially for one term, but with the prospect of being permanent.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have;
*A Level 2 or higher NVQ or CACHE Qualification or equivalent
*Experience with working with children with MLD, ASD or communication difficulties is essential
*Preferable experience of working within a special needs school
*A patient, caring and adaptable manner to deal with SEN pupils in an education setting
*Comfortable with personal care for younger pupils
*To live in or around the Moseley Area
