One of our South Staffordshire Middle schools is looking for a Year 6 teacher until the end of the school year. This high achieving Year 6 class is already meeting targets and the school wants to find the best teacher with outstanding subject knowledge to really help push them to achieve above and beyond. You will need to be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons and go above and beyond to help develop a caring environment. As the Year 6 teacher, the successful applicant will take on the role of a permanent member of staff including all planning, staff meetings, parents evenings, report writing etc. Year 6 SATS experience is preferable but you will have the full support of the Headteacher and the staff during the SATS period. As the Year 6 teacher at the Church of England Middle School knowledge of the Christian ethos is also preferable.

As a Year 6 teacher you must:
*Hold UK QTS (NQTs welcome to apply)
*Have experience as a Year 6 teacher (preferably Year 6 SATS)
*Knowledge of the Christian ethos
*Be hard working and ‘go the extra mile’ with colleagues and pupils alike.
*Have great communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships
*Provide evidence of work history, good references and checkable work history
*Have a proven history of strong behaviour management
