🎓 Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and Qualified Teacher of Geography, with the ability to teach Travel and Tourism, to join our vibrant secondary school nestled in a charming village near Grantham. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about inspiring young minds to explore the world around them.This small school for 11-16 year olds, provide a high-quality education and is committed to providing a nurturing environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential. They pride themselves on their inclusive ethos and are looking for someone who shares their passion for helping young people succeed.
Must be a car driver due to the location of the school.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and innovative Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5.
* Teach Travel and Tourism, including preparing students for vocational qualifications or GCSE/BTEC options.
* Foster a supportive and challenging learning environment that encourages all students to achieve their best.
* Contribute to the department's collaborative planning and extracurricular activities.
We're looking for someone who:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Geography or a related subject.
* Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (KS3-KS4 required; KS5 desirable).
* A passion for Travel and Tourism education, with relevant knowledge to deliver quality lessons.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* A commitment to contributing to the wider school community.
