Aspire People are currently assisting this School and Performing Arts College to appoint a full time teacher of English.
This is a mixed secondary school in the town of Rugby, Warwickshire. The school is non-selective, catering for students aged 11-16. We are looking for a teacher who wants to make a difference and give encouragement and guidance to the pupils.
This role commences in January 2019 but for the right candidate there may be a requirement to start earlier. The school is looking for a teacher who is both dynamic and motivational. You will need to be able to teach up to GCSE English to apply for this role.
As a English teacher you will:
* Teach English to KS3 and KS4 level. Knowledge of A-Level would be beneficial.
* Assess, mark and plan lessons
* Assess achievements of pupils
* Provide progress reports and attend parents evenings
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience
* Qualified teacher Status
* Experience working with children
* Dedication to their job
* A passion for teaching
