KS2 TA, Kings Norton

Are you a confident and caring Level 3 qualified teaching assistant with a passion for SEN?
A lovely primary school in the Kings Norton area are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in KS2 who has severe autism. This post will include supporting the child on a 1:1 basis in all aspects of the school day, Special Educational Needs administrative support and working very closely with the school SENCO to develop the quality of provision further for children on the SEN register.

The successful applicant will have high expectations of achievement and behaviour and will be able to inspire children in a caring, positive and creative learning environment.
This particular primary school has a positive and friendly atmosphere for learning and teaching and are highly regarded in their community. Therefore ideal candidates will have the vision and energy to sustain and promote the current standards of achievement.
The school are seeking a professional, dedicated teaching assistant who has:
«Level 3 NVQ or equivalent

«Considerable experience in KS1 preferably a Year 2 class

«Experience with working with children with special educational needs (Autism)

«A patient, caring and adaptable manner to deal with SEN pupils in an education setting
