Reception Teacher
Small Heath
GBP100 – GBP160 per day

This modern, very successful 3 form entry school based in Small Heath is looking to recruit a Reception Teacher full time to start in September 2018.

The successful candidate will deliver outstanding teaching and learning, helping the children achieve excellent academic results right from the start, as a classroom teacher and integral member of the team.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

*To use Assessment For Learning continuously to inform planning and teaching and to resource and deliver outstanding lessons to the highest standard, which ensure real learning takes place and children make outstanding progress
*To use Assessment For Learning to set targets, monitor progress and respond accordingly through creating effective interventions, flexible teaching approaches and regular review
*To enrich the curriculum to enhance the learning experience of all children, based on individual interests and needs
*To teach engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire and improve attainment
*To help to maintain the excellent behaviour across the whole school
*To implement and adhere to the school policies, ensuring the health and wellbeing of pupils are maintained at all times
*To maintain regular and proactive communication with children, parents, carers and outside agencies
