GBP110 – 160 per day dependant on experience

Aspire People are currently looking to recruit a dynamic and well-qualified Drama teacher to join this very successful department. The post will involve teaching throughout the School from Year 7 to Sixth Form level, and also directing extra-curricular school productions.
Person Specification

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed practitioner to join a very successful and dynamic department. We are seeking to appoint a full time teacher of Drama to work in a busy and highly successful department teaching throughout the School, including GCSE (Eduqas WJEC), A level (Edexcel) Drama and Theatre and IB Literature and Performance.

The applicant should have an excellent understanding and broad knowledge of theatre practice and theory, covering a range of practitioners, styles and traditions from different cultures and eras.
The ability to direct extra-curricular productions is also vital. The department has a successful tradition of including large numbers of students in its extra-curricular programme in challenging, varied and entertaining work which is produced to a very high standard
