Aspire People are a supply teaching and education recruitment agency operating throughout Central England. We specialise in helping teaching, school office and technical support staff to find opportunities in schools, academies and colleges.
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join our busy Compliance Team based in the Sutton Coldfield head office.
As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all of our candidates (temporary and permanent staff) have been vetted and checked in line with ‘Working together to safeguard children’ guidelines. Aspire People have been recognised by the DfE for demonstrating our robust recruitment, selection and vetting process and we are looking for someone who will continue to maintain our high standards.
You will be responsible for managing your own workload whilst completing a wide-range of tasks that make up our candidate clearance process. The clearance process starts once the candidate has been interviewed. The process is completed once you have completed all of the relevant procedures and the candidate is made live, and handed the candidate back to the sales consultant.
During this stage, you will be required to liaise with candidates, clients and members of the Aspire People team to identify and obtain all missing documentation and to ensure all relevant child protection checks are in place. You will also need to work closely with your team and other teams across the company in a pivotal role that contributes heavily to the continual supply of high quality candidates to the business.
Further to that, you will be assisting in the recruitment and suitability for all candidates, and providing administrative support to the sales team. You will occasionally provide support to cover your consultants desk for short periods of time and in emergencies. You will also work on mini projects as and when required as part of training and development.
*Vetting and checking candidate files in ‘Working together to safeguard children’ guidelines.
*Correspondences via telephone, email, fax, and post.
*Scanning and attaching paperwork to candidate files.
*Data entry onto our front-end office system.
*Maintain and update information on all of your current ‘pending’ candidates.
*Applying for and chasing employment references daily.
*Applying for and chasing ‘missing identity documents’ from candidates daily.
*Processing new DBS certificates and Barred List checks daily.
*Checking candidates qualifications with online checks, references and certification daily.
*Self organisation of work load using a paperless focused approach.
*Supporting your consultants in placing recruitment adverts onto relevant CV databases and job boards to ensure a constant flow of candidates.
*Headhunting – identifying and approaching suitable candidates.
*Managing the candidate database for team members to ensure candidates are coded correctly.
*Supporting your consultants in preparing CV’s and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants.
*Supporting your consultants in organising interview days for them and specific interviews for clients.
*Attending interviews and registration days as per need of the team to select the correct candidates to work with Aspire.
*Supporting your consultants in chasing candidate timesheets for team members to ensure LIVE candidates are paid correctly.
*Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
*Correct, effective usage of the company front-end office system including activity logging.
*Adhere to all company policies .
*Other duties as required by the sales team and/or compliance quality manager
*Completing an expiry report on the 10th of every month to ensure all safeguarding checks are valid
No experience is necessary as we offer training on all relevant aspects of the role.
