Senior Science Technician
GBP8.50-GBP10.50 per hour
Start date: ASAP

Aspire People are urgently seeking an experienced Senior Science Technician to work in a Secondary School on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will have suitable experience working in both an education environment and laboratories. You must be able to start immediately.
Applicants must have a DBS issued within the last 12 months and signed up to the update service or be willing to pay GBP53 for a new DBS check that you can take to any education environment.

It is essential that you have relevant science technician experience and can carry out some of the following duties:
-Supporting both candidates and science teachers throughout the day
-Setting up and using the equipment accurately and safely
-Take a proactive approach to work
-Organised and knowledge of the relevant health and safety regulations
-Able to manage the stock control of chemicals and equipment
-Ensure that equipment is properly cleaned and that chemicals and other materials are appropriately stored
