Part time Science Technician
Grade 2 – GBP5950 per annum actual salary
2 fixed days per week (18.25 hrs),term time only
1 year fixed term contract
In order to further raise achievement, we are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic technician to join our successful team.
The job will include preparing chemicals, setting up and clearing experiments with due regard to health and safety, assisting teachers with practical lessons and demonstrations, maintaining equipment, preparing resource materials and monitoring stock levels. Some general administration duties may also be required e.g. display work.
The successful candidate will:
Be suitably qualified in science, with sound knowledge and excellent IT and practical skills.
Have the ability to work well in a team and on own initiative to tight deadlines and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement of the role.
