SEN Teaching Assistant
Aspire People are currently working alongside a school to support them in the recruitment of an SEN Teaching Assistant.
The school will require and experienced SEN teaching assistant/ Learning support assistant who is:
*Experienced in supporting pupils with Autism and has a strong understanding of how a pupil’s needs can be met within a mainstream setting
*Confident managing challenging behaviour in the classroom and using de-escalation techniques. Team-Teach trained is not essential but would be an advantage.
*Skilled working with pupils with communication difficulties; PECS training would be an advantage but is not essential
*Able to demonstrate the impact you have had on a child’s progress and development.
Candidates would need to be available to begin work immediately. The job would initially run until July 2019 .
