Aspire People are looking to recruit a one to one SEN Early Years Teaching Assistant to work with a child with physical and medical needs. If you are experienced in working with young children with physical and medical needs in a school, specialist or care setting then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
We are working in partnership with an inclusive, mainstream setting, who is looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to provide to one-to-one support for an identified pupil with physical and medical needs in Nursery.
The school will require and experienced SEN teaching assistant/ Learning support assistant who is:
*Experienced in supporting pupils with physical and medical needs and has a strong understanding of how a pupil’s needs can be met within a mainstream setting
*Must have experience of the Early Years Curriculum and working with small children under 5.
*Be Level 3 qualified or above
*Skilled working with pupils with communication difficulties; PECS training would be an advantage but is not essential
*Able to demonstrate the impact you have had on a child’s progress and development.
