Description

Fixed-term, full-time Teacher of English
To commence September 2019

I am delighted to be assisting this popular, over-subscribed, Catholic School in North Oxfordshire with an excellent reputation for both academic achievement and student welfare.
“Students told inspectors they were encouraged to aim high in accordance with the school’s commitment to their success. They also commented on how much they appreciate the wide range of opportunities during their time in school.”
“The behaviour of pupils is outstanding. The conduct of pupils around the site and in lessons is exemplary.”

I am looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to join this thriving English Department. The ideal candidate will be able to motivate and encourage students through inspiring and challenging lessons and a passion for the subject. The post would suit a committed teacher with energy, drive and passion who enjoys working as part of a team and who wants to make a difference and help all students achieve the highest possible standards.
In return, this post offers the right candidate an excellent Professional Development Programme and the opportunity to be part of a supportive, enthusiastic and committed team.
The ability to teach across the Key stages up to and including KS5/A Level is desirable, but certainly KS3 and KS4 in the first instance. Applications are welcome from both experienced and newly qualified teachers.
All applicants must be able to demonstrate an empathy for, and understanding of, the Catholic Christian ethos of the school.

Applications are welcome from NQT’s and overseas trained teachers with QTS.
