Description

Teacher of Health and Social Care with Sociology
Warwickshire

Aspire People are currently assisting this oversubscribed secondary school with an expanding sixth form to appoint a teacher of Health and Social Care and Sociology. The school has sustained continuous improvement in order to secure fantastic outcomes for their students. Attainment (73% 9-4 and 49% 9-5 in English and Maths) and progress at KS4 and 5 is consistently above the national average.

We are looking for applications from enthusiastic and ambitious teachers who can deliver Sociology to Key Stage 5, BTEC Health and Social Care to Key Stage 4 and 5, and with the ability to teach either History or RE at KS3. This post provides an excellent opportunity for the right person to make their mark in a team which is very collaborative and highly successful, and consistently achieves results above the national average.

* Are you a highly effective and dedicated practitioner who is able to teach both Sociology and Health and Social Care?

* Are you able to teach RE or history at Key Stage 3 level?

* Are you committed to developing professionally and contributing fully to the department?

Applications from NQTs, as well as those from experienced teachers, are welcomed – the NQT programme is a particular strength of the school. Any successful NQT applicant would be strongly supported in securing the skills necessary for this role.

This School has a strong team spirit and a passion for creating an inclusive learning environment, which enables all students to exceed expectations. They promote exemplary relationships at all levels, and strive for outstanding outcomes. All staff and students are valued highly. There is a first class commitment to developing individuals and working with others to reach their full potential; their personalised CPD programme is second to none.
