I started working at Aspire People as a Compliance Administrator in May, 2014. It was my first job in recruitment after spending 5 years in retail, which was a massive change, but it was definitely the right choice. Learning about Safeguarding with no prior experience was a challenge, but more than anything it showed me how rewarding it is to work within the education sector.
What Do You Do at Aspire People?
I’m the Assistant Compliance Manager at Aspire People, I work to make sure all of our candidates are fully vetted in line with Safeguarding legislation before they are sent into an education setting. I also ensure that the whole compliance team work together to get the best results, supporting them in their day to day tasks and assisting the Compliance Manager when needed.
What Do You Get a Kick out of in your Role?
Working at Aspire People can be intense, challenging and sometimes very demanding – but it can also be really exciting, inspiring and rewarding, especially knowing that you have helped make it possible for a candidate to go out to work.
