Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today, Education is of such paramount importance and shapes the futures of people lives, and the lives of those around them, so having had the privilege to work in the education sector for the last 20 years and having played a small part in shaping peoples futures in incredibly humbling. I am passionate about education recruitment and feel a real responsibility to do it right! Change the perception of agencies and put Aspire on the map for being the agency that truly cares about what they do. I started in education as an administrator and over the last 20 years have worked my way up to the role I hold today. I have done this by staying true to the reason I joined the education recruitment sector this was to change people lives in whatever way I could and make a difference.
What Do You Do at Aspire People?
My role at Aspire is to lead, coach and develop a team of winning consultants to ensure Aspire People remain key players within the education market. In line with this keeping up to date with education and market trends so we can offer the best service to our schools. All consultants at Aspire are here to develop long and lasting careers within our organisation and fulfill their own potential. Recruiting and Training these individuals to expand into new territories and grow Aspire Peoples market share, throughout the whole of the Midlands. I am also as part of the Senior Leadership Team support the sales Director in ensuring we are the best recruitment agency out there.
What Do You Get a Kick out of in Your Role?
I love seeing people fulfill their potential this runs through from the consultants I train and coach in our office through to the teachers and support staff we have placed in numerous roles over the many year and the feeling that I am playing my part in 1000’s of children fulfiling their potential and unleashing the power that a good education hands them!
