Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
Working Hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm
Location: Tamworth
Are you passionate about making a difference in a child's early educational journey? Do you have the skills and patience to support a young learner with speech and language needs?
We are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and nurturing Reception team at one of our lovely schools in Tamworth. This role is focused on providing guidance, encouragement and tailored support to a child with speech and language challenges, helping them to thrive in their learning and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to a child in Reception, focusing on speech, language, and communication development.
* Assist with individualised learning plans, working closely with teachers and speech therapists.
* Encourage confidence, independence, and social interaction.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children, particularly in early years settings.
* Knowledge of speech and language support strategies (previous experience is a bonus).
* Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support the child's development.
