Primary SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant - PeterboroughAspire People are excited to be working with a fantastic Primary School in Peterborough to find a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role involves providing 1:1 support to a young child with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) in a mainstream classroom setting.
Role Details:
Position: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm
Contract: Temporary, until August 2025
Location: Peterborough
What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour.
Comfortable providing personal care when required.
Flexible and able to adapt to the child's changing moods throughout the day.
Available to commit to a full-time role until August 2025.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for the SEND pupil, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Help the pupil stay engaged and focused on lesson plans.
Adapt your support methods to the pupil's needs each day.
Follow safeguarding policies and procedures in line with child protection guidelines.
