Job description
Art Teacher (KS3-KS4) - ManchesterAspire People are partnering with a well-established secondary school in Manchester, seeking a passionate Art Teacher to join their department immediately. This is a full-time, long-term position that requires the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Art lessons to students from KS3 to KS4. Your duties will include marking and assessing student work, participating in department meetings, and contributing to the school's ongoing commitment to high academic and behavioural standards. You'll create a positive learning environment that fosters student progress and helps them achieve their target grades.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
* Experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting (ECTs with relevant placement experience will also be considered)
* Strong behaviour management skills
* A collaborative mindset, eager to work as part of a team and share best practices
* Availability to start immediately and commit to the role on a long-term basis
