Job Opportunity: Full-Time Primary School Teacher with BSL Skills in Walsall, West MidlandsAre you a passionate, qualified teacher with British Sign Language (BSL) skills? We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic educator to join one of our primary school for a full-time role (5 days a week) with full class responsibility.
Position: Full-Time Primary School Teacher with BSL
Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Start Date: January 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and manage a primary school class across a range of subjects.
- Integrate British Sign Language (BSL) into lessons to support students with hearing impairments and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
- Develop lesson plans and educational activities to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Ensure a positive and engaging learning experience for all students, encouraging active participation.
- Collaborate with other staff members and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proficiency in British Sign Language (BSL) (minimum level 2 or higher).
- Experience teaching primary school children, with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
- Passionate about fostering diversity, inclusivity, and student well-being.
