Complex Needs Support Worker Transitioning into SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Kidderminster
Aspire Agency is seeking an experienced Complex Needs Support Worker to transition into a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant role within a specialist school in Kidderminster. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience supporting children and young people with complex needs to use their skills in an educational setting, supporting students with diverse learning requirements.
Role Details:
* Location: Kidderminster
* Schedule: 5 days per week, term-time only
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract Type: Ongoing temp-to-perm opportunity
* Transport: Must drive, as there is no public transport to the school
What We Are Looking For:
* Experience as a Complex Needs Support Worker, Care Assistant, or working with individuals with disabilities or complex medical needs
* A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with students in an educational environment
* Ability to assist with personal care, mobility, behaviour management, and engagement in learning activities
* Experience with Makaton, PECS, or sensory and therapeutic learning activities is desirable but not essential
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
