Aspire People Education Agency is recruiting on behalf of a reputable secondary school in Northampton. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join the school's team and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Position: Cover Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
Manage student behaviour to ensure a constructive and safe learning environment.
Support students with their learning activities and help them stay on task.
Follow the lesson plans provided by the absent teacher to ensure continuity in learning.
Report on the progress and behaviour of students to the appropriate staff.
Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
Requirements:
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to different classroom settings.
Previous experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential.
