About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of lessons in the absence of teaching staff. You will be responsible for supervising students, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring that students engage with pre-prepared work. You will also have the opportunity to build positive relationships with students, support their development, and contribute to the overall success of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students during lessons, ensuring they remain on task and complete set work.
Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behavior.
Offer support to students in their learning, encouraging positive engagement.
Act as a role model for students, promoting a positive and respectful school culture.
Assist with administrative tasks as required.
About You:
Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
Resilience and patience in managing a classroom environment.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
A passion for education and the desire to make a difference in students' lives.
A DBS check will be required before employment.
