Aspire People are currently seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant secondary school in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in education or for those with prior experience in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage classes during the absence of teaching staff.
Ensure students remain on task and complete set work in a timely manner.
Provide support to students with their learning and behaviour in line with school policies.
Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to the smooth running of the school day.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or in a school environment is preferred.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to manage and motivate students in a classroom setting.
A flexible and proactive approach to work.
A passion for supporting students in their learning journey.
