Job Type: Flexible - Day-to-Day, Part-Time, or Full-Time
Key Stages: KS3 - KS4
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Are you confident in leading a classroom and looking for flexible work in a secondary school setting? We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to work in a school in Swadlincote, delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
The Role:
Supervising and delivering lessons across Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4
Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students stay on task
Supporting students' learning and engagement
Following the school's policies and reporting back to teaching staff
Requirements:
✅ Experience working in a UK school setting (essential)
✅ A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to apply and pay for one)
✅ Strong classroom management and communication skills
✅ Ability to build rapport with students and support their learning
✅ Driving licence preferred but not essential
