Cover Supervisors - Secondary Schools - Derby - Flexible Day-to-Day WorkWe are looking for reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day, flexible basis across a range of secondary schools in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking flexible work within education, covering lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher.
Role Overview:
Supervising classes across a variety of subjects using pre-prepared work left by the class teacher.
Managing the classroom environment and ensuring students remain on task.
Confidently dealing with challenging behaviour and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
Supporting students in line with school policies and expectations.
Key Details:
Location: Derby (various secondary schools)
Contract: Day-to-day, flexible cover
Subjects: General cover across multiple subjects
Requirements:
- Experience working in UK secondary schools - essential.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students.
- Comfortable working with challenging behaviour when required.
- Flexibility and adaptability across different schools and subjects.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred, but not essential if you are happy using
public transport.
