Aspire People Manchester are proud to be working in partnership with a wonderful and very well respected all-girls secondary school in Bolton, to find an inspiring and enthusiastic English/Drama Teacher to join their team from 1st September 2025 for a one-year maternity cover contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and ambitious school that prides itself on empowering young women through a rich curriculum and a vibrant school community.
✨ About the Role:
You'll be delivering engaging and dynamic lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in both English and Drama, with access to excellent resources and a dedicated performing arts space. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a passion for both subjects, with a focus on fostering confidence and creativity in the classroom.
✅ The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
(ideally in either Performing Arts, Drama, or English or Communications)
Experience teaching English and/or Drama at KS3 and KS4
A passion for inspiring young learners and a commitment to their academic and personal development
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
A team player who's happy to get involved in the wider life of the school
