About the Role:
We are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor to provide support to students in key GCSE core subjects - Science, Maths, and English - at a reputable all-boys secondary school in North Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to help students fill gaps where necessary, and go on to achieve their potential in these important subjects.
Job Details:
Subjects: GCSE Science, Maths & English
Location: North Manchester
Schedule:
Monday: 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Tuesday: 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Wednesday: 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Thursday: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
(There is potential to expand on these hours, depending on the needs of the pupils and the school)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group tuition for GCSE students in Science, Maths, and English.
- Deliver tailored lessons to support students' learning and exam preparation.
- Help students build their confidence and improve their performance in these core subjects.
- Monitor and track progress, providing feedback to the school and students.
- Support students in developing effective study techniques and exam strategies.
Requirements:
- Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE students in Science, Maths, or English.
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum in these subjects.
- A passion for helping students succeed and develop their skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
