About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will be committed to inspiring students to achieve their full potential in English literature and language, creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the curriculum.
Assess, track, and report on students' progress.
Create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that supports students' academic and personal development.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Support the school's ethos and values.
Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and exam specifications.
Passionate about fostering a love for literature and language.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
