Job Title: English Teacher - Secondary SchoolLocation: Small Heath, Birmingham
Contract Type: Full-time (with potential for permanent placement)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Aspire People is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Small Heath. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and make a real difference in their academic journey.
The Role:
As the successful candidate, you will:
Teach English Language and Literature to KS3 and KS4 students
Develop engaging and creative lesson plans that meet national curriculum standards
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
Maintain a positive learning environment that promotes progress and high achievement
Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Experience teaching English at a secondary level
Strong classroom management skills
A commitment to raising standards and helping students reach their full potential
A DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one through Aspire People)
