Are you a passionate English teacher looking for an exciting new role in 2025? Aspire People is recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Northampton. This is a long-term position starting in January 2025, offering an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on students' learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
Contribute to curriculum development and ensure alignment with the school's learning goals.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, training, and development opportunities.
Maintain high standards of classroom management and behavior in line with school policies.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Experience teaching English to secondary students (KS3 and KS4) is essential.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students to succeed in English.
Ability to manage a classroom effectively and create an engaging learning environment.
A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
