📅 Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier by negotiation)
💼 Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and driven EYFS Lead to join one of our client friendly, single-form entry primary schools in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring early years practitioner to lead our EYFS provision while maintaining a hands-on teaching role in our Reception class.
As EYFS Lead, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the early experiences of our youngest learners, lead and support staff within the phase, and play a vital role in the strategic development of Early Years education across the school.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the planning, delivery, and assessment of the EYFS curriculum
- Model and deliver high-quality teaching and learning in the Reception classroom
- Support, mentor, and develop EYFS staff, including teaching assistants and other support staff
- Monitor children's progress and use data to inform provision and next steps
- Work closely with the SLT to develop and implement school-wide EYFS strategies and priorities
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Significant experience teaching in EYFS, with a proven track record of impact
- A deep understanding of the Early Years Framework and early child development
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, support and challenge others
- A warm, creative, and reflective practitioner with high expectations for all pupils
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
