Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Full Time RoleLocation: Leicester, UK
Are you a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in primary education? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to join our team in Leicester!
About the Role: As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will provide vital support to primary school children with diverse needs. Your calm and caring approach will help create an inclusive learning environment. Opportunities are also available in nearby towns with our partnered schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual students.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to children, helping them achieve their learning goals.
Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere conducive to student growth and development.
Help with classroom management, ensuring a safe and organized learning environment.
Support children with personal care and emotional needs as required.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to assessments.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement effective strategies for diverse learners.
Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student progress and needs.
Requirements:
Relevant Level 3 qualifications from the UK. (Applications without these qualifications will be rejected.)
A current DBS check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
An education-related degree is preferred but not essential
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is required.
A calm, caring demeanor with a genuine commitment to supporting children's needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to adapt to the diverse needs of learners.
A driving license is preferred, or willingness to travel via public transport.
Additional skills or interests in areas such as sports, music, or the arts are welcomed.
