The Role:
As Head of Mathematics, you will take on a key leadership role, overseeing the Maths department and ensuring the delivery of an outstanding curriculum to students from Years 7 to 11. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of Mathematics education in the school, driving high standards and fostering a love of the subject.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the Maths department and managing a team of dedicated staff.
* Developing and implementing an inspiring curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
* Monitoring and raising achievement, ensuring that student outcomes are maximized.
* Providing high-quality professional development and support for staff.
* Promoting a positive culture of learning and high expectations.
* Contributing to the strategic leadership and vision of the school.

The Person:
Kat at Aspire People is seeking an experienced and motivated individual who:
* Holds a relevant teaching qualification and has QTS.
* Has a proven track record of success in teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
* Possesses excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Demonstrates the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop others.
* Has a deep understanding of the current educational landscape, including the curriculum and assessment requirements.
* Is committed to continuous improvement and high standards.
