As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students during lessons in the absence of their regular teacher. You will help manage the classroom, ensure students remain on task, and support their learning and behaviour. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is considering a career in teaching or looking to gain experience in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise students in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring they are engaged with the set work.
-Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
-Ensure that students are following the instructions provided by the teacher and assist with any queries they may have.
-Support students in their learning and encourage participation in class activities.
-Provide assistance with administrative tasks as required, such as taking the register and setting up classroom materials.
-Ensure the safety and well-being of all students under your supervision.
-Follow school policies and procedures for safeguarding and behaviour management.
-Provide feedback to teachers and school leaders on student engagement and behaviour.
