A well-established two-form entry primary school in Rochdale is looking to appoint an experienced HLTA on a temporary-to-permanent basis, starting in April 2025. The initial contract will run throughout the academic year, with the potential for the position to become permanent.
In this role, you will provide long-term cover for PPA sessions and staff absences across both KS1 and KS2, so experience in both key stages is highly desirable. The school, which is rated GOOD by Ofsted, is known for its welcoming atmosphere, strong values, and clear vision. The successful candidate will be expected to uphold and align with these values in their teaching approach.
The school serves a higher-than-average proportion of disadvantaged pupils, so experience working with SEN children would be beneficial.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified HLTA (or equivalent) or an Early Career Teacher looking to gain broader experience across the primary phases before taking on a full classroom teaching role.
