This Secondary School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Teacher of History and Religious Studies to join their team in Ilford.
Teacher of History and Religious Studies - Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and inclusive History and Religious Studies lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
* Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of historical events, cultures, ethical perspectives, and religious traditions.
* Promote critical thinking, empathy, and respect for different viewpoints through stimulating classroom discussions and activities.
* Support extracurricular activities, such as history clubs, religious study groups, or school trips to historical and cultural sites.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall curriculum and contribute to department initiatives.
Teacher of History and Religious Studies - Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in History and Religious Studies.
* Passion for teaching and fostering student growth.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
