Contract Type: Full-time, temporary (with potential for a permanent role).
Are you a passionate and dedicated History teacher ready to inspire the next generation of historians? A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a welcoming secondary school in Melton Mowbray for an engaging and dynamic educator to join their team from January to July 2025, with the potential for a permanent position.
The Role
* Start Date: January 2025
* End Date: July 2025 (potential to transition to a permanent role)
* Teach KS3 and KS4 History to students with a range of abilities.
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
* Support students to achieve their full potential through innovative teaching and learning strategies.
What We're Looking For:
* A qualified teacher with QTS, QTLS, or FE qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching History.
* The ability to inspire curiosity and critical thinking in young learners.
* Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Excellent organisational and classroom management skills.
