Job description
Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and dynamic school in Leicester. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational journey of young learners. Assist the teacher with classroom management and lesson delivery, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment.
Support the development and implementation of lesson plans, adapting activities to meet the needs of all students.
Provide targeted support for small groups or 1:1 interventions, particularly for children struggling with mathematics or reading.
Think on your feet to create engaging and relevant activities that complement the lesson and enhance student understanding.
Assist in monitoring student progress and providing feedback to help them achieve their learning goals.
Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably at HLTA level.
Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
Ability to think quickly and adapt activities to support lesson objectives effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
