Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the KS2 curriculum, promoting both academic and personal growth.
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are supported and challenged appropriately.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable goals to encourage continuous improvement.
- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation, respect, and a love of learning.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to deliver a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers to communicate students' progress, achievements, and areas for development.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in events, staff meetings, and collaborative projects.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a KS2 setting are essential.
- Proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons within the KS2 curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet varying needs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative approach to working with staff, students, and parents.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Experience working with students who have additional needs or SEN is highly desirable.
