Lead Practitioner of Science - responsibilities:
* Teach general Science at KS3 and your specialism at KS4-KS5 (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
* Lead and monitor progress within the department
* Review and update the curriculum when required
* Monitor learning and behaviour management within your team
* Monitor department budget and resources efficiently
* Run extracurricular Science activities
* Observe pupil development and wellbeing
Lead Practitioner of Science - the school:

Lead Practitioner of Science - requirements:
* UK QTS / PGCE
* 2:1 or above Science degree from a top university
* 2+ years UK Science teaching experience
* Desire to take on additional responsibilities
* Good to outstanding teacher observation grades
* Be able to contribute to improving on the quality of learning and teaching and curriculum
* Have experience of high quality pupil tracking and feedback practices
* Strong classroom management
* Commitment to CPD
