Experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA)Location: Rochdale - Secondary Schools

Aspire People are seeking experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in secondary schools across Rochdale. There is a growing demand for academically strong LSAs who can support students in reaching their academic targets and achieving success in their subjects.
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students to provide academic support, ensuring they stay on track with their learning. This role is ideal for candidates with tutoring experience or those looking to gain hands-on classroom experience before pursuing teacher training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing 1:1 and small group academic support
* Helping students achieve their subject-specific targets
* Building positive relationships with students to boost confidence and motivation
* Liaising with teachers and parents to provide feedback on student progress
* Supporting classroom learning and adapting teaching methods to meet student needs
Requirements:
✅ Strong academic background with subject knowledge to support students
✅ Previous experience as an LSA, tutor, or similar role
✅ Passion for education and helping students achieve their potential
✅ Confident in communicating with parents about student progress
✅ DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
✅ Ability to provide two years of professional references
