Are you a dedicated and compassionate Level 2 Qualified Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
Here at Aspire we are seeking an exceptional individual to join a vibrant and inclusive school in the West Midlands on a long-term basis.
About the Role
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant in this SEN role, you will:
* Provide tailored support to children with a range of special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver targeted interventions and adapt learning materials to suit individual needs.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment that promotes emotional well-being and self-confidence.
* Assist with personal care and physical support where necessary.
* Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience working with children with SEN, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children, staff, and parents.
* Patience, resilience, and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on young lives.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a willingness to undertake additional training as required.
