About the Role: Aspire People is excited to work with a well-established secondary school in Birmingham in their search for a passionate and talented Maths Teacher. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality lessons that engage students and inspire a love for mathematics. You will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and interest.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach engaging and challenging maths lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote development
Prepare students for assessments and public exams
Contribute to the development and improvement of the maths curriculum
Collaborate with colleagues in the department and across the school to enhance student learning
Support extracurricular activities related to mathematics, such as clubs or competitions
Essential Criteria:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching maths at Key Stage 3 and 4 (or relevant teaching placement experience if NQT)
Strong passion for mathematics and education
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential
Strong organizational and planning skills
Desirable Criteria:
Experience teaching A-Level maths (or an interest in teaching at Key Stage 5)
Familiarity with the latest GCSE Maths curriculum and assessment methods
A commitment to ongoing professional development and training
