Aspire People are seeking a Qualified Maths Teacher (QTS) to join a thriving secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and engage students in mathematics, helping them develop confidence and a love for the subject.
The Role:
✅ Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
✅ Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support their development.
✅ Use innovative teaching methods to make learning accessible and enjoyable.
✅ Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
✅ Work collaboratively with the Maths department and contribute to the school community.
Requirements:
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Maths at the secondary level.
✔ Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Maths curriculum (KS5 experience is desirable).
✔ Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
✔ Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students.
✔ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
