Job Title: Maths Teacher (Specialism in Maths & Additional Maths)Location: Northampton
Start Date: January 2025
Position: Ongoing, Long-term
Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher, with specialism in both Maths and Additional Maths, to join a fantastic secondary school in Northampton. Starting in January 2025, this long-term role provides an excellent opportunity to inspire students and help them excel in their mathematical abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths and Additional Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
Support students in understanding complex mathematical concepts, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Assess, track, and report on student progress, offering constructive feedback to ensure continued academic growth.
Develop and implement differentiated learning strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
Contribute to the overall Maths department through collaboration and sharing best practices.
Uphold strong classroom management standards, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Specialism in Maths and Additional Maths, with experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students in both Maths and Additional Maths.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
