Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) QTS Teacher - Secondary School in Rossendale, BacupStart Date: February 24th, 2025
Location: Rossendale, Bacup
Contract: Permanent (or at least from half term to the end of the academic, if you have something else lined up from Sept 25)
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and qualified Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the beautiful area of Rossendale, Bacup. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an experienced MFL teacher looking for a new challenge and the possibility of a long-term position.
About the Role:
- Teach MFL to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
- Inspire and engage students with dynamic lessons in French, Spanish, or other languages
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the curriculum and school policies
- Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging students' linguistic and cultural development
- Support and collaborate with a dedicated and friendly team of teachers and staff
What We're Looking For:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a degree in a relevant language field
- A strong passion for teaching and language acquisition
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A creative and engaging approach to lesson planning and delivery
- Prior experience teaching MFL in a secondary school setting
- The ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a supportive school culture
