Part-Time Maths Teacher - A Level & GCSEStart Date: September 2025
Location: Banbury
I am delighted to be asked to assist this all girls school in Banbury appoint a part-time teacher of Maths.
I am seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivational Maths teacher to join this exceptional school community from September 2025, part-time 0.5 FTE. You must have experience of working at secondary level.
The Mathematics department consists of the Head of Department (full-time), two additional full-time members of staff and one part-time members. Pupils currently study Edexcel IGCSE, Edexcel A Level and Further Mathematics. The Department is housed within the school's new state-of-the-art, purpose-built teaching centre. Staff are well-resourced and every classroom in this inspirational teaching and learning space is equipped with excellent IT facilities.
This part-time role involves teaching GCSE and A Level Mathematics, with the ability to teach Further Maths considered an advantage. You'll be working with bright, engaged students in an independent school that values academic excellence and personal growth.
Set in beautiful grounds, the school offers support and innovative and high-quality teaching. The school prides themselves on fostering a warm and supportive environment where both students and staff can thrive.

A qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge
Experience teaching GCSE and A Level Maths (Further Maths desirable)
